Process of creating Titan

The Titan Network project involved multiple dependencies and contributions from various client-side teams. Without a clear system for requirements documentation and validation against existing code, there was a risk of timeline delays and budget overruns. Our team implemented a process that shifted requirements gathering, design, and estimation to the early stages. This approach provided the client with transparent timelines and clear expectations, minimizing project risks and ensuring a smoother development phase.

Multi-themed, multi-platform, user-friendly

Upon finalizing the wireframes across several user flows, it became clear that the mobile and web applications would need to maintain a high level of consistency. The functionality for both platforms was designed to be identical. To achieve this, we chose to implement a cross-platform technology—React Native Web. This decision allowed us to maintain a single codebase for the web, Android, and iOS applications. By leveraging this solution, we streamlined the development process for all three applications simultaneously, significantly reducing the development timeline. Additionally, this approach will lead to lower maintenance costs for the client in the future, ensuring a more efficient support structure for the Titan Network community.

Design system

To expedite the development process further and reduce the costs associated with designing individual UI components, we adopted the MUI design system as our foundation. By utilizing MUI components during the design phase, our designers ensured that developers could rapidly assemble the UI from pre-built library components.

This approach did not limit the designer’s creativity in terms of visual aesthetics; instead, it provided a structured framework that defined the available controls for the developers. As a result, we achieved a balance between innovation and efficiency, enabling a seamless transition from design to implementation.

One of the client’s primary focuses was the UX of the application, which received the utmost attention during the design phase. We leveraged the best features of the MUI design system, alongside custom solutions where necessary, to achieve an outstanding user experience. By prioritizing UX, we ensured that the application would not only be visually appealing but also intuitive and user-friendly. This commitment to excellence in design helped create a seamless and engaging interaction for the Titan Network community.
